Created by Onyx Path - The Apocalyptic Record

Deluxe W20 Apocalyptic Record

Latest Updates from Our Project:

Howls of Victory!!!
over 2 years ago – Thu, Oct 21, 2021 at 09:03:31 PM

What a great day, garou!

Aside from a last minute computer freeze up, today has been a wild ride!

WE DID IT!

Working together, we funded the development and production of a deluxe version of W20: The Apocalyptic Record, the capstone book for the Werewolf: The Apocalypse 20th Anniversary Edition game line. Filled with in-character accounts and tons of lore, this book is also packed with story hooks and metaplot guidance for your WtA game!

Not the final time I'll be suited up as Grandfather Wolf, but I'll pack the red cape away for a bit now...

And not just that! This amazing, wyld ride started huge out of the gate and had an incredible run over these final days. Together, we've added additional content with new projects added to the list due to Stretch Goal achievements, and also introduced some celebrations with Milestone Markers along the way.

MILESTONE MARKERS

Redbubble Backer T-Shirt Opportunity – An Apocalyptic Record-themed Kickstarter Backer shirt will be hosted on Onyx Path’s Redbubble store for a limited time. Only backers will be notified when the shirt becomes available for purchase.

Digital Wallpaper– Dress up your monitor with some action-packed artwork from the Apocalyptic Record. This reward will be added to the rewards list for all backers.

W20: Apocalyptic Record VTT Token Pack– Digital assets will be created to support online play for the Apocalyptic Record. This online asset pack will be added to the rewards list of all backers.

ADDITIONAL CONTENT STRETCH GOALS

W20: Apocalyptic Record Storyteller Screen – A three-panel Storyteller Reference Screen with charts and information for running a W20 game will be created and offered as an Add On to any deluxe hardcover reward tiers for +$25.

Icons of Rage – A character folio introducing the W20 traits for legendary Werewolf characters will be released as a supplement PDF. All Kickstarter backers receiving the W20: Apocalyptic Record PDF will automatically have this added to their rewards list.

Ready-Made Characters – A full complement of ready-to-play characters will be released as a PDF supplement, providing examples and allowing players to jump right into the action! The Ready-Made Characters PDF will be added to the rewards list of all backers receiving the W20: Apocalyptic Record PDF.

and then transformed this into...

Howls of the Apocalypse – A chronicle incorporating plots from the pages of the Apocalyptic Record will be merged with the Ready-Made Characters, transforming it into the Howls of the Apocalypse scenario supplement PDF. All Kickstarter backers receiving the W20: Apocalyptic Record PDF will automatically have this added to their rewards list.

And because we were still raging during these final hours, we added one more accomplishment:

Increased Art Budget – Additional funds will be allocated to the art budget for the W20: Apocalyptic Record book, adding even more epic action and more inspiring illustrations!

Incredible! What a rush at the end!

And all of that is, of course, on top of our main purpose here - the creative of the actual book itself! This is the real reward - everything else is a bonus!

So a huge congratulations to the creative team on this project, and to all of the backers who've joined in to make this possible. I'm happy about the goals we hit and rewards we introduced, but I'm really excited about having 1,130 backers join in during this campaign. Crossing that 1,000 Backer Count is a big achievement, and I knew the Werewolf fans would gather in strength when the apocalypse came!

 AN EXTRA THANK YOU!

So, thank you to all the backers who supported us and made this happen. And a personal thanks to everyone who participated online, either in the comments section of the kickstarter, and on social media around the web. Thanks to those who come out, time after time, to support Onyx Path and these projects. We had a ton of great discussion in the comments and a ton of sharing online, and I loved it all!

There's obviously a lot going on in the world right now - a lot of new and ongoing challenges to be dealt with - but it's been really great to see the community come together to support this project and turn it into a big success.

COMMUNICATION

So, as noted in today's earlier update, I'll be sending out updates once a month and whenever we've got a new goal, survey, or other item to cover. If you have any questions or need clarification on something related to the kickstarter, feel free to get in touch. I may take a bit to answer as I recover from this past month, but I'll eventually have an answer!

TO CONTACT ME

  •  Via E-Mail: Onyx.Kickstarter [at] gmail.com
  •  Via Kickstarter: Click Onyx Path under the "Created By" heading on the main page, and then press the "Contact Me" button - the message will come to me!

For setting stuff and questions about the game itself, it's probably best to visit one of these Onyx Path discussion zones:

So, thanks to everyone for helping maintain this strong werewolf community and facing the apocalypse together!

Now to attend to other business and eventually collapse for a few hours and recover from the awesomeness of the last couple days! High fives in the comment section, and you'll hear from me again next month!

Philodox Tales Preview: Embrace the Future

Embrace the Future

Carly Lives-True reflects on the shackles of the past

That story messed me up when I first heard it. Hestia was seventy in that recording and it must have been fifty years since she last interacted with humans with any frequency, if she ever did. Her family were Kinfolk. Mine weren’t. I’m what they call a Lost Cub: my folks were just… normal. Working people, with boring jobs that ground them down and enough money for a holiday once a year. They weren’t so bad. Probably dead, in spiritual terms, but it wasn’t their fault. If we go around blaming modern folk for what their ancestors did, we have to confront a lot of stuff about the War of Rage that I think we’d rather not face up to.

Plus, my family aren’t all humans. I’ve known plenty of great ones, women and otherwise. Activists, mothers, fighters, teachers. Some young, some old. Some here, some in Greece, all over the world really. And not only Kinfolk. Normal humans who know they’re trapped in a world that’s not how it’s meant to be, and do everything they can to escape. To help other people escape. On the other hand I’ve known plenty of selfish, cruel, downright nasty Garou who I’m ashamed to stand alongside. I’m not excluding the Furies from that, either. We’re as bad as any other tribe. Judgmental, disrespectful, mean. We could use some empathy, just like anyone else.

We nearly came to blows over that tale, one time she told it, but it wasn’t done. She was an Elder, I was a cub. Plus, Hestia and I were too busy fighting over way more personal stuff than that. She’s old school in a lot of ways. ‘There are only two sexes,’ and stuff like that. I’m neither of those sexes, so she spent a lot of time shrieking that I was an abomination. A Wyrm-thing, and the lack of Wyrm-scent only further angered her. I don’t think she ever actually called me Carly. And that’s why I didn’t stay in Greece after my visa ran out. Hestia said visas were abominations too. That you can’t own land in that way. So fine, she’s not wrong about everything.

Carly Lives-True speaks of balance

It’s not that I don’t think the Weaver — Lachesis, the Great Spider, all the other names it goes by — is bad. But I think the whole Triat’s gone askew. The Wyld is in just as much pain as the others, and just as erratic, but she’s weaker. The Weaver’s mad, arguably, but she’s not beyond saving.

Plus, when we talk about the Weaver’s tools, a lot of the Elders conveniently forget we’re talking about things we need now, even if we didn’t in the good old days. Clean water. Electricity. They act like only the Glass Walkers would sully themselves with Weaver-tools, but they’ll take a hot bath, the produce of agriculture — they’re not out there foraging and hunting night and day, they’ve got shit to do. They’ll even drink some wine now and again. That’s all technology. All Weaver-work.

The problem is imbalance. And what’s most out of balance is the Wyrm. That’s where the fight is: in standing up against the mutants, and horrors, and corporations that are poisoning the world. Let’s worry about that before we get caught up in a fight against an enemy that’s not actually doing any harm. It’s such an us thing, a Garou thing, especially a Black Fury thing, to start a war on two fronts when we could actually make an ally. Maybe if we worked together we’d be able to get the Wyrm back in check. Maybe, once it’s under control, or weakened, or defeated, whatever our goal is this week the Weaver would be back in balance too. Or I’m an idiot abomination child.

The thing is, people are real selective about their history. People like Hestia go around inciting whole septs to rise up and riot, smash the tools of the Patriarch, and so on. They forget that there’ve always been voices crying out for a little bit of empathy and being ignored. The Medusae were the first pack of Furies and half of them were peacemakers. Helena was out there insisting we could stand to give men a crumb of respect, and Stheno — our first Philodox — was just begging people to talk to each other, to talk things out. Okay maybe not begging. I highly doubt any of the Medusae ever begged for anything. Probably more striding into the firelight and telling people to shut up and listen.

This is all a long and winding way of saying Hestia’s a psychopath and she is not the type of person we should be looking to for guidance. The last hundred plus years have pretty much proved this ‘glorious battle’ position isn’t getting us anywhere. We lost the Amazon, we’re losing the cities. If we keep fighting the wrong battles, we’ll lose those and the real one against the Wyrm.

The Weaver has her own servants and protectors, and it’s time someone reached out to them. Maybe they won’t want to hear from someone like me, and I can’t claim to speak for any Garou but myself. But that’s how it starts. One small gesture of kindness, returned, again and again, and every time you pass it from one hand to another it grows. Eventually, if you work hard, you get an alliance. Maybe even friendship. Or you get your head torn off and your body tossed in a sewer. You just never know.

I walk into the city every night now. Walk around where the webs are thickest and the Pattern Spiders look like zeppelins. I’m vulnerable but that’s the point. Leave yourself open and people will respond to that. And I’ve got enough fight in me to get away if I’m wrong.

  • Carly! I can’t believe you’re starting to see it. Vassilit — that’s the Order-Jaggling who’s been taking you on your little walks in the Umbra — told me! Now if you can convince your whole entire tribe, that’d be great.
  • The Weaver can be a shield for Gaia, if we let it. Shit, the Weaver literally invented the concept of armor. Weaver-tech makes her more resilient against the Wyrm, and makes us better able to protect her, it’s that simple. Like, why throw a spear at your enemy when there’s an AK-47 right there, right? Why try to guess the weak points in a plan when you can run 10,000 permutations of it on a computer in the time it takes to hit ‘enter’?
  • Just one thing though. Be careful with Vassilit, ok? It doesn’t look like much but it’s an old spirit. It can be helpful, but it isn’t tame. It’ll expect something from you in return. I know you know what you’re doing but… don’t get too comfortable, okay?

That's it! The final preview we'll be posting from the book! Tomorrow, we'll have the entire chapter - the entire book - available for backers to read. It's the current, approved draft that will undergo a bit more development and some editing but will be the version that gets turned into our final deluxe books!

What I'm saying here - if you're a backer,  you're able to read the entire manuscript for this book before the campaign ends and any pledges are processed and payments are collected, so you know exactly what you're getting in to!

Matthew's Question of the Day: If you could run or play in a chronicle bringing back only one of the lost tribes, which would you choose? Come join us for discussion on this in the comments section!

On Wednesday, we're going to review our Stretch Goal accomplishments, so let's see if we can't get closer to our final reward by then!

Keep at it, Garou, and let's finish strong!

Final Week Review - Reward Tiers & Add Ons
over 2 years ago – Tue, Oct 19, 2021 at 06:46:18 PM

Greetings Garou,

We're in the final days countdown for W20: The Apocalyptic Record on Kickstarter - it ends on Thursday, October 21st at 2:00 PM EDT - there's still time to find additional packmates and bring them with us to face the apocalypse, but we're definitely getting closer to the finish line. With that in mind, I wanted to touch on some of the basics over these next 4 days to make sure that everyone has all of the information they need to support the project in the way that works best for them.

Final Days Schedule

  • October 17 - Reward Tiers & Add Ons
  • October 18 - Our second preview from the Philodox Tales chapter
  • October 19 - The final Backers-only Manuscript Post, with Chapters 5+6
  • October 20 - Stretch Goal Review
  • October 21 - Final Day Checklist & What Comes Next

Whether you've just changed shape for the first time or have fully unleashed your rage, these are good items to review to make sure that we all end up where we want to be.

(An aside, if you're a new backer, make sure you check out the Final Days Countdown/ Resource post. It has links to the manuscript previews, interviews, and podcast discussions.)

Only the glasses are real.

BACKER REWARD TIERS

Like it says right at the top of the campaign page, we've come together to help create a fully developed PDF and deluxe hardcover for this game, the capstone product for the Werewolf the Apocalypse 20th Anniversary line.

The Apocalyptic Tales is a setting sourcebook for your Werewolf the Apocalypse game, built for the 20th Anniversary Edition, but, really,  usable with any version of the game. It’s usable with either game, or as part of a joint experience. In The Apocalyptic Record, young and old Garou alike deliver tales of great, humble, disastrous, and glorious deeds. They run the gamut from tales of war and the Wyrm, to stories of the Umbra, Kinfolk, and tribes long lost.

To borrow an analogy that I've used in past Kickstarter campaigns, this process we're a part of works similar to the "Viewers Like You" support campaign from your local Public Broadcasting Station (for those who get American television channels or watched Sesame Street in the pre-HBO era): There are various levels of support that you can pledge to, and these come with various levels of rewards offered as a thank you. Like getting a tote bag or t-shirt when you give money to public broadcasting to fund them doing their thing, you can get rewards for helping Onyx Path work on this project.

Let's review the Backer Reward Tiers to ensure that you've pledged to a Reward Tier that provides all the rewards you wish to receive.

Choose Your Form: Digital or Deluxe?

The main rewards offered in this campaign is, of course, the main goal of the entire proposition: the W20: The Apocalyptic Record book. The first decision you need to make in figuring out your reward tier is whether you want to receive the PDF version or the deluxe hardcover version (which includes the PDF as a bonus!)

CRESCENT MOON

This is the PDF-only reward tier. So, if you're saving trees or saving shelf space - or avoiding the shipping charges that are absolutely ever-increasing - this is the reward tier options that you should begin with. The PDF will be fulfilled by our partners at DriveThruRPG.com - when it is ready, you will receive a link to add it to your DTRPG library at no cost and be able to download at your leisure.

HALF MOON

This reward tier includes the deluxe, limited edition hardcover version of this book. That means the books are produced in an offset print run at one time and will have the best production values, from color clarity and appearance to binding and deluxe materials. In addition, this option also includes the PDF version, so you will get a digital copy as described above.

In addition to these primary reward pledge tiers, we also offer the following options:

  • Waxing Moon: Not ready to commit, or just looking to offer general support? This pledge tier is for you. This does not include our primary reward, but allows you to select some digital optional Add Ons, as well as participating in the post-campaign Pledge Manager as a backer. You'll also be able to read the draft manuscript of The Apocalyptic Record that we post throughout this campaign.
  • Double Deluxe: Backers looking to act as the point person for members of their gaming group (or those who just really like W20) should note the Gibbous Moon reward tier, which offer 2 copies of the deluxe hardcover (and may save overall on shipping per unit).
  • Full Moon / New Moon / Lunar Eclipse: A few Reward Tiers offer special limited premium rewards in addition to the basics, including an option to act as a Art Model, a chance to supply a name to be used by an NPC included in a supplement, or an opportunity to provide direction for the developers to create a Gift, Rite, or Fetish. Check each of the Reward Tier descriptions for more details.
  • Howling Moon: A special limited reward tier that allows a backer to receive copies of manuscript drafts for a W20 supplement while it's being developed.  A fun opportunity to get a glimpse into the process.
  • Merchant Option: We love retailers, but modern publishing methods don’t always make it easy for them to get books into their stores. With this W20: Apocalyptic Record campaign, we have created a special Reward Tier just for you. Any retailer who pledges at the Retail Reward Tier will get 5 copies of The Apocalyptic Record deluxe hardcover book (as well as the PDF versions) at a retail-specific discount so that they can sell in-store.

PLEDGE MANAGER ACCESS - After the campaign is over we'll launch BackerKit, our post-campaign pledge manager, and invite the backers to set up their rewards via survey. This allows you to confirm your pledge and add on anything that you might have missed, as well as possibly increasing your pledged reward tier, should you choose to expand your reward selection. This option will give international backers additional time to investigate shipping options, should they choose, knowing they can confirm a physical reward at a later date. Funding collected in BackerKit after the campaign does not count toward any campaign Stretch Goals, however.

You'll note that two rewards - Access to the Manuscript Previews and Participation in Post-Campaign Pledge Manager - are included in ALL reward tiers. That's just one of the perks of participating in this kickstarter campaign!

MANUSCRIPT PREVIEWS – All Reward Tiers include access to Backers-Only manuscript previews. With the exception of the final chapters (which will be posted on Tuesday), I have posted the entire manuscripts across multiple sections. You must be a kickstarter backer to access these previews, as the link will remain in a backers-only update post. The manuscript previews may not be available to those who pre-order the book at a later date.

OPTIONAL DISCOUNTED PoD VERSION – For this W20: Apocalyptic Record campaign, you will have the option of using DriveThruRPG.com’s Print-On-Demand service to purchase a physical, printed copy of the PDF directly from their PoD partners at discounted cost (this cost is not included in your pledge, and you do not need to increase the cost of your pledge to use this option). When the PoD versions are available to order (which may be some time after the books have gone to print), you will receive links to purchase these versions of the books from DriveThruRPG.com. You DO NOT need to take advantage of this PoD offer as it does not affect in any way your pledge rewards.

APOCALYPTIC RECORD PDF VERSION - The digital version of W20: Apocalyptic Record, fulfilled by our partners at DriveThruRPG.com. Kickstarter backers will receive a redemption links for an early version of this book before it goes on sale to the public. This initial "Backer Version" will be used to get feedback from the fans to make the final version the best that it can be. When it has been updated to the final version, it will automatically be added to your DriveThruRPG library and available for download at your convenience.

APOCALYPTIC RECORD DELUXE HARDCOVER VERSION - The main goal of this campaign is to fund the creation, production, and print run of a deluxe hardcover edition of this book. Note that all Reward Tiers that include the deluxe version also include the PDF version as a bonus. Additional shipping charges are automatically added to your pledge by Kickstarter, based on your delivery location.

LISTED AS A KICKSTARTER SUPPORTER IN THE DELUXE HARDCOVER - All Kickstarter backers will have the option of being listed in the Deluxe book. We'll collect this information in BackerKit, so you'll be able to let us know how you want to be listed (if you want to be listed!), and appear on record as a W20 supporter.

Choosing Your Reward Tier

There has been some churn over this past week - a few Reward Tier adjustments and changes by backers, as budgets changed and people have seen the game in play and read the manuscript previews. In these final days it's best to ensure that you've selected the Reward Tier that offers you the options and rewards you want to receive and are ready to lock down. This timing - before the campaign ends - is the absolute most affordable and inclusive these rewards will be, and will save headaches and heartbreaks if fully considered now.

This is just the first step, however, in completing your pledge for this campaign. Additional optional extras can be added to your pledge, rounding our your rewards and increasing the overall funding and maybe getting us closer to a Stretch Goal.

First Step: Reward Tier

To summarize the first part of this post, the absolute best way to ensure that you're getting the primary rewards you want from this kickstarter is to ensure you've selected the appropriate Backer Reward Tier. Selecting the right Reward Tier covers about 85% of the options available to you. If you want a PDF only, make sure you've selected the correct reward. If you want the deluxe hardcover version, double-check your reward tier to ensure the proper option is featured. If you're going digital now but want the option of getting a discounted Print-on-Demand copy later, make sure you've got a reward tier that includes it.

Once you've completed that important step, you're going to want to look at the Add On rewards for any reward "bits" that don't automatically fall into your reward tier. That takes us to the Add On step.

Step Two: Add-Ons.

Once you've chosen your pledge tier, you've likely already included the main rewards you want. In addition to the rewards offered as part of the Reward Tier configurations, there are a few other possible rewards you may wish to add. All Add-On rewards are described in our Add On menu below.

Each Add On includes an extra amount to add on to your total pledge amount. Remember that your total pledge amount includes all shipping charges and not just your reward tier level.

The Add On option menu appears in the second part of your pledge confirmation. When you decided to back the W20: The Apocalyptic Record campaign, you first choose a Pledge Reward Tier. Once you've selected that, you can configure your reward with additional options.

You can add or update your Add On choices right up until the campaign ends on October 21st at 2:00 EDT. If you've already pledged, you just have to hit the Manage Your Pledge button on the top of the campaign main page.

Once you've decided to Pledge to the campaign, or to Manage your Pledge if you've already backed, you either Confirm or Change Your Pledge on the first menu.

Pick a Pledge Tier, then Add On Options

First step is choosing your pledge tier. You'll note that shipping costs are included for the Half Moon tier.

Once I click that green "Pledge" Button, I am taken to the second part of the Pledge confirmation, where I can further Configure my reward. There are many optional Add Ons, not just those visible at the top of the page. It pays to scroll down.

If you want to add one of the other 20A rulebooks, one of the Werewolf bundles, an additional PDF or deluxe hardcover copy, or the Storyteller screen that we unlocked via Stretch Goal, you can do that during this step.

Once you've selected your Pledge, and then picked any Add On options, you press continue and review one final time before confirming your pledge.

I added more rewards!!

In this example, I've updated my pledge to include the Werewolf: The Apocalypse 20th Anniversary Core Rules PDF (figured that would come in handy!), two of the W20 PDF Bundles (the "Battle" and "Breed" bundles) and the Apocalyptic Record Storyteller Screen that we unlocked via Stretch Goal achievement. Once I click Confirm, my reward tier and add ons are set for my pledge.

You should also be aware that any available Add On options will be made available in our BackerKit pledge manager, so if you're unsure about adding on something at this point, you will be able to adjust your pledge in the post-campaign phase.

Pledging to the campaign also opens up the Stretch Goal rewards as thanks for your participation. We'll review our Stretch Goal accomplishments on Wednesday, but it's important to note that backers who wait and Pre-Order W20: The Apocalyptic Record at a later date will not have any Stretch Goal rewards automatically added to their rewards list. The Stretch Goal rewards will only automatically be added to the rewards for those who participated in this Kickstarter campaign.

OPTIONAL HARDCOVER ADD ON REWARDS

All Add On and additional hardcovers can only be added to a reward tier that already includes a hardcover version of this book (and has therefore established shipping parameters). The Storyteller Screen must also be added to a hardcover reward tier, since it is a physical item that requires shipping. As with your pledge, additional shipping charges may be included based on your location. Your rewards will be sent in a single shipment when the W20: The Apocalyptic Record books are printed and ready to fulfill.

REWARD DELIVERY

About 6 weeks after the campaign has ended, I'll launch our post-campaign Pledge Manager to collect information from all backers and confirm which rewards you'll be receiving. At this point, you'll be able to review your rewards and also also adjust any Add On Options that you may have missed. Once we have everything confirmed, I'll be able to deliver any rewards that are currently available - like the PDF versions of the other 20A Core Rulebooks (Vampire: The Dark Ages 20A, Mage: The Ascension 20A, Wraith: The Oblivion 20A, and Changeling: The Dreaming 20A), as well as the Werewolf PDF Bundles. Backers who have pledged for these options will be sent special redemption links to claim these digital rewards from our partners at DriveThruRPG.com. Clicking these redemption links will allow you to add these PDF titles to your digital library to download anytime. I'll send an update when all of that is happening, though, so you are aware every step of the way.

So, while it will take some time for W20: The Apocalyptic Record to move from manuscript form to a final product, you won't be waiting a year for PDFs that already exist. (You'll be waiting about 6-8 weeks or so, just enough time for us to set up the reward infrastructure.)

Physical Books

It's going to take some time to create the final PDF for W20: The Apocalyptic Record and even longer for the eventual print run for the deluxe hardcover book. When the books are at the printer, I will be in touch with all kickstarter backers and go over lockdown procedures and confirming addresses one final time. But that's a long time away, and we'll cover all of that as we get closer to that part of the process.

Don't fret if you had forgotten to select an Add On by the end of the campaign. These Add Ons will be available to select in our post-campaign Pledge Manager for those who participated in our campaign and have full access to the Pledge Manager. So, if you are undecided at this time, you will be able to hold off until we're closer to the final reward shipment goes out.

Step 1: Pledge Tier

Step 2: Add On Options

Again, your first step should involve your main reward selection, and your Add On Options will build upon that. If you selected the PDF-only tier, you will be presented with PDF options. If you select the hardcover tier, you will be presented with physical reward options. You cannot add on additional physical rewards if the W20: The Apocalyptic Record hardcover book is not included in your pledge tier reward list.

Note that all funds are expressed in US Dollars, although Kickstarter displays the approximate conversion rate.

It Adds Up!

That should explain the process of Selecting your Reward Tier and Add On options and confirming your TOTAL PLEDGE AMOUNT. Since increasing your pledge amount increases the overall funding level of the project, add-ons can help us achieve our Stretch Goal funding targets, so it benefits us all to suggest that you double-check to make sure you're getting all of the rewards you want.

Additionally, this may go without saying, please review your personal budget and ensure you've selected the appropriate reward tier and add ons for your current financial situation. Kickstarter will begin charging your payment method once the campaign ends, so ensure you've budgeted correctly.

Conclusion

As we move through these final days of the campaign, please ensure you've chosen the correct Reward Tier for the rewards you want. And beyond that - please make sure you've investigated and selected any add-ons you wish to receive. If you have any issues with the Pledge process, either selecting the reward tier or Adding On optional rewards, try a different browser or device. Kickstarter is always refining their processes, but sometimes things are a little sticky. Changing browsers often solves the issue.

On Thursday, just before the campaign ends, I will send an update detailing the steps that occur after the campaign concludes, including notes about our Pledge Manager and the communication plan going forward.

So, just like always: Spread the word! Share your excitement on social media! Tell your friends! We're about to enter the rapid rat race to the finish line, so let's make sure that none of our friends miss out!

And I'll be back Tuesday with the FINAL manuscript section for The Apocalyptic Record, making the complete text available for all backers to review before the campaign ends!

Ready-Made Awesomeness! Another Stretch Goal Down!
over 2 years ago – Tue, Oct 19, 2021 at 06:43:55 PM

Well, we're in the final week push, aren't we!!

Together, we've just unlocked another stretch goal, adding additional new W20 content to the project list of the Onyx Path creative team!

ACHIEVED! - At $75,000 in FundingReady-Made Characters – A full complement of ready-to-play characters will be released as a PDF supplement, providing examples and allowing players to jump right into the action! The Ready-Made Characters PDF will be added to the rewards list of all backers receiving the W20: Apocalyptic Record PDF.

We're not quite done there, though, because this Stretch Goal reward is a shapechanger. We've got another goal on the horizon that, if we work together, can transform this reward into something even more interesting...

At $85,000 in Funding – Howls of the Apocalypse – A chronicle incorporating plots from the pages of the Apocalyptic Record will be merged with the Ready-Made Characters, transforming it into the Howls of the Apocalypse scenario supplement PDF. All Kickstarter backers receiving the W20: Apocalyptic Record PDF will automatically have this added to their rewards list.

So keep at it, W20 fans! Let's see if we can unlock one more stretch goal before we finish up on Thursday! Keep howling!!
