Greetings Garou,
As we approach the lunar new year in a few weeks, we're reminded how quickly circumstances can change. Yeah, there's a werewolf joke in there somewhere.
In our monthly update last week, I had noted that our hardcovers were not yet with Studio 2, Onyx Path's fulfillment partner, and according to the latest update, it would likely be several weeks before they were available for distribution to backers. Now, either the printer has invented some kind of teleportation technology, or an update on the status was missed, but the good news is that our books have landed in the warehouse.
If you go back to our initial Kickstarter campaign, we projected distributing the hardcover books to backers by December 2023. So we're gonna be about 5-6 weeks behind schedule, but the plan is to start sending the books out to backers within the next few weeks.
SHIPPING SOON! CONFIRM ADDRESS INFORMATION
At the beginning of the month, we confirmed everyone's shipping information in BackerKit. At that time, I was projected fulfillment for a March timeframe. Now that we know the books are shipping in February, I want to re-confirm everyone's shipping information.
In ONE HOUR, Backer Kit's Pledge Manager will send an ADDRESS LOCKDOWN NOTICE to you via e-mail. If your address is correct in the e-mail, you don't need to do anything! We're all set. If your address is incorrect or needs to be updated for February delivery, you can click on the link provided in the e-mail to update your information.
The e-mail will say:

If you do not need to update your shipping address, you do not need to take any further actions. You're all set!
If you need to update your shipping address, please make any final changes here.
48 Hours after this e-mail goes out, all address information will be locked into the system. This is the information I will be passing along to Studio 2 next week so they can begin their fulfillment. So click that "here" if you need to update your shipping address, otherwise we're all set to go!
SHIPPING INFO
All orders for the hardcover book that were confirmed by, paid for, and have delivery destinations confirmed by January 28, 2024 will passed on to Studio 2, Onyx Path's fulfillment partner, and will be picked, packed, and shipped out over February.
As part of the prep-pick-pack process, you will be assigned a tracking number, so - in theory - you'll be able to follow your order along as it works it's way to the shipping address you confirmed in BackerKit.
TRACKING INFORMATION
The first step in the order prep process is to print out an address label and a pick slip - these two items are linked together so the warehouse knows what to ship and where it's being shipped to. This means that a tracking number will be assigned to your order BEFORE it gets shipped from the warehouse, possibly even a week or two before your items are boxed up and scheduled to be picked up by a courier partner.
So, in the first two weeks of February, you may see a note that the shipping label is "created, but not yet in system" - which just means that the warehouse is currently in the process of putting the orders together. You'll be able to see when your order is indeed shipped, and track it's progress as it travels to you.
Normally, US backers would start seeing deliveries a week or two after the orders have left the warehouse, but as we're right in the middle of winter weather, everything may take a bit longer. That may affect tracking updates - but, I'm told, information should catch up as packages move through the system.
Once the bulk of the orders have left the warehouse, you will (*should*) get an e-mail with Tracking Information.
Your tracking information may take a few days to update at any given time, so you may see "Pre-Shipment" as it filters out to the various shipping agencies, but it should update as it travels and eventually delivers to you.
Again: You'll have your tracking numbers sent via the e-mail provided to Backerkit, and shortly thereafter, you will also be able to access your Tracking number in Backerkit by reviewing your Order Confirmation.

Your BackerKit Confirmation page will have:
The TRACKING NUMBER for your shipment (once it's been uploaded)
Your confirmed shipping address
A link to your digital redemption codes
A link back to the Community page (you can flip between Confirmation and Community here)

As noted in this update, it may be a fwe weeks before your orders goes out, and up to 48 hours for Tracking Information to update as it leaves the warehouse. That said, tracking your packages - especially for international orders - can provide great assistance in solving minor issues before they become major issues.
International Shipping costs continue to climb - that's an understatement - and every sign points to additional costs coming throughout 2024, so it's pretty important that we avoid any re-ships or additional shipping charges as much as possible. And that's where your help can really come in handy.
I've dealt with several situations where shipments were marked as "delivered" but the backer hadn't checked the tracking information for months, unaware that the package had been sitting at a neighbor's house or stuck in a local postal facility.
So, please, check your tracking number bythe end of February. If you haven't received your package by, let's say March 31, review the tracking number to see where the issue might be.
Again, it may take a few days for any status updates to appear, and depending on the country and carrier, each package may enjoy a different transit time. But if we're into April, let's see if we can sort out any delivery issues while everything's still fresh.
For example, if Package status indicates it was delivered but you never received it
Double-check your Backerkit CONFIRMATION PAGE (as detailed above) that the correct address was provided, and maybe check with your neighbors to make sure it wasn’t accidentally left there. If that doesn’t turn up anything, contact the carrier or your local post office to report the package as not received and please contact me using the Contact Creator button on kickstarter to let me know you didn’t get your order.
I've seen so many orders sitting in a local post office for 8 weeks while the recipient was left unaware that it was waiting. Additionally, other backers have solved issues almost immediately with a quick call to FedEx and providing their tracking number.
It's a HUGE help to me and Onyx Path if we can solve any wayward shipment or stuck orders in November, rather than waiting until the summer when shipping systems finally give up delivery attempts and return the items to our fulfillment partner (at an extra cost to Onyx Path). Let's avoid paying for multiple return shipments if we can! Thanks for your help in advance.
Also, if you have any issues with your shipment or books, do not panic! As we've all done for the past few years, we will get through this. It may take a bit to sort, but I'll do my best to make sure everyone gets their rewards.
Onyx Path has had their own adventure getting these books created and delivered to Studio 2's warehouse so there's a bit of recovery and adjustment that's been needed to get everything in place. I am hopeful that everything will be shipped out before the end of February.
If you have any issues with your delivery, let me know and let's see if we can sort out solutions before they become bigger problems. Otherwise, check your tracking, check your mail, and check out the cool new Werewolf the Apocalypse 20th Anniversary Edition book that'll be in your hands soon!

January 2024 Update

Greetings Garou,
And welcome to our first update of 2024! I have a feeling these updates may be a little boring... until they're not. Basically, our final reward, the deluxe hardcover, is on the presses. So these updates will be mostly just keeping tabs on the book as they finish printing and then ship 'round the world to Onyx Path's fulfillment partners, Studio 2, and then on to you.
With that in mind, I'm going to be switching the frequency of these updates to bi-monthly. So, my next update will come in March, when we'll hopefully see the book in transit, and we'll continue ever other month until it's in your hands. That said, if I get news on an off-schedule month, I'll make sure to post an update and let you know.
ICONS OF RAGE update
Yesterday, Onyx Path released their PDF and Print-on-Demand versions of Icons of Rage, one of the supplements that we unlocked via Stretch Goals during the campaign. Backer versions of this PDF went out back in November, but the finalized version of the PDF (with the Page XX notations all corrected) is now available in your DriveThru digital library and you can re-download at your leisure.

One final update for 2023! I just wanted to touch base before the end of the year to remind everyone about our lockdown schedule as we head into 2024.

Our final reward, the deluxe Apocalyptic Record hardcover, is currently with the printer. Hopefully it'll ship early in the new year and - even though it'll take some time to get to our fulfillment warehouse - we'll at least know it's on the way. I'm locking down shipping information soon, but I'll actually be sending it to our fulfillment partners when the books deliver, so there's still time to adjust as needed. Still, I'd rather be ready early and set to turn things around quickly than hold off and scramble when the books arrive.
Let's hope things run smoothly in 2024 and we'll have our books in hand once spring hits.

I know it's only been a handful of days since our big November month end update, but I'm gonna sneak in here before December begins because I've got another reward for you!

Every Garou has a story.
Some stories are brief. They unfortunately end with an inexperienced werewolf rushing in to face more than they can handle. As the Apocalypse approaches, these stories are depressingly common.
Most stories are longer. They tell of werewolves who grow into their roles, who perform their duties, who live and die in honorable service to their packs, septs, and the Nation.
Yet other stories also exist. These tales may be long or short, but they tell of Garou who overcame their challenges, who became pinnacles of their auspices and whatever goals they pursued. They tell of those Garou who we should hold up as examples to what can be accomplished even in the face of the onrushing Apocalypse.
These Garou are the Icons of Rage.
Icons of Rage includes:
Twenty-four fully detailed characters complete with their backgrounds, traits, and story hooks to use in your chronicles, as allies, contacts, mentors, or even antagonists.

This is the first version of W20:Iconsof Rage to be released. The design and development teams have done their best to proofread and correct any errors and typos - but some always sneak through. If you catch any typos, incorrect math, visual glitches, and the like, we want to hear about them and correct them before we send the book off to print.
With that in mind, I'd like to introduce the Iconsof RageFeedback Form!

November '23 Monthly Update

Greetings Garou,
Last month, with our book at press, I outlined our Lockdown Schedule. I'm going to revise that schedule a bit.
Here's the status of our book. I believe the interior pages are printed, but since this is a deluxe edition hardcover, those pages are now off to the bindery that does this special work and the books are in the process of being assembled with the debossed deluxe covers and silk bookmark. Once those steps are done, it'll be a long ocean voyage as our books make their way to the US.
So let's amend the lockdown schedule a bit and push some stuff back.

The interior pages are being bound into the deluxe cover. The Onyx Path team is waiting for a finished sample to approve before the entire batch can be completed and shipped to the US. The screen is being assembled next week and will deliver to Onyx Path's distribution partner before the end of December, ahead of the deluxe hardcovers. Icons of Rage, our final Stretch Goal supplement, is in the proofing phase and being reviewed by the Onyx Path team and the licensor. Once any corrections are made and everyone has signed off, I'll be able to distribute it to backers. Hopefully that will be part of our December update!
